they werent, but he probably turned off the truck during the process the pics were taken in
and idk how they could be off at night unless there was a short
if there was, this is why i ride with brights on roads bigger than two lanes (always brights during day, only when not blinding someone at night)

Let me make this very clear. This post is not to bring anyone down, **** someone off, or cause some forum troll to try and flame me. I am simply trying to bring awareness about what NOT to do while riding your bike. The rider seen in this picture was tailgating a truck needless to say you can figure out the rest

But yea everyone please ride safe out there. You just never know what can pop up out of the blue while riding.

Ya, old. And regarding the gear ***** comment ... at least they have something decent to bury. Imagine how much worse to a family if he hadn't been wearing a helmet. Can not confirm but from condition of bike I would say he broke his neck ... helmet isn't really designed for that anyway. You can break your neck tripping over a curb. Life is fragile that way ... be as careful as you can because someone gives a damn about you.
