Rear Ended by bike hating cop
Like I said, he's researching it. It seems that the County citizens have done something about police use of excessive force. They have a section of their website and a committe dedicated to investigating claims.
I will prepare and submit something within the next 24 hours. I will have to get it notarized tomorrow while I'm at work.

OMG, I just found a MOU between PGPD and the Dept of Justice talking about their compliance with Excessive force complaints and the like. OMG.
40.
Officers shall notify their supervisors following any use of force or upon the receipt of an allegation of excessive force. Except for those instances in which the only use offorce is a canine deployment, supervisors will respond tothe scene, examine the subject for injury, interview thesubject for complaints of pain, and ensure that the subject receives needed medical attention.
From your story there was no supervisor, i say there is a good chance you could get this dropped and damages fixed.

Holy crap, what an *******! So, when he bumped you, did he just hit the rear tire and was it enough to knock you over or just roll forward?
If I were you, I'd be going down to the station right now, ask to see the chief (or his superior) then ask to see the in carvideo, then make it known that you've hired a lawyer and will make it public and be a huge pain in the *** and not go away.

Someone said not to pay the tickets, but if they are not addressed then you may risk your license being suspended. I am not saying just to pay them but here in Florida you have an option for a court date. The system is so backed up I was just in court for a speeding ticket that I wrote in I think March 07. If you have this option it may not be a bad way to buy you time and not risk your license. It sucks this happened but hoping someone dies of cancer is, to me, pretty harsh but thats besides the point. If something like this happens the best advised I could recommend is to asked for a supervisior be called to the scene. If one is not called after the stop is cleared by the officer, if your in a safe place, call the local department and ask for a supervisior your self to come to the scene.
This really hurts the image of Law Enforcement and your right power sometimes causes some to do what others would not.
