Well i had typed out this whole story earlier but wouldn't let me post, guess site is still goofy (just a fyi for the mods). So here is my shorthand version . 75mph 3rd gear standup, huge gust of wind (wasgusting 30-50 mph today), lost control, scraped tail, thought i was gonna die, somehow pulled it out of my *** and stayed up. The moral: i have done my last wheelie ever, i quit!!Off to ebay to find unrashed tail section.

 

Good idea. I rarely do them and never at those speeds.

 

Pics or it never happened. I kid I kid. My 94 doesnt even want to pop the front wheel so I dont worry about it. Glad your safe.

 

Quit doing wheelies and stoppies years ago for similar reasons. Now I just drag things.

Yeah I'm a little weary about doing them now ever since I did it on that bridge with Jaynd and it was windy and it felt mad shaky lol...

But what are you going to do when every little kid you pass yells "do a wheelie!" and gets mad when you don't?
