Does anyone else completely hate rap music? To me it sounds like the same beat and same song, pimping, weed, money, gangester, crap all the freaken time. I think it came down to an all time low when I heard the song "My lip gloss is popin". WTF! I get ragged because I let it known to everyone know I hate rap and thats all everyone listens to in Louisiana.

I like the beats, and I like some of the artists...

but my biggest problem with rap music is what it teaches the kids who listen to it.

 

I would not say I hate it, more like, it just don't interest me. I think its pretty repetitive & only gets interesting when they use a more contempory mix. I think its intersting the Blondie released the 1st commercial rap song (Rapture). The stuff I hear from the young guys next door when they crank it, is pretty pathetic, as in (C)rap music.But at my age I more into Classical Music, like Mile Davis, Led Zepplin & Grand Funk.

 

I love it when the radio stations say they are mix, but all ya hear is rap.

most people say what I listen to isnt music but atleast they use words that exist, not some made upword just so the "song" rhymes.

word and yeah i cant stand some of the **** they call rap out there but its pretty much all i listen to
