Default Rain-X on windscreen?

i was talking to a friend about riding in the rain and he asked how do you get the water off when in traffic or slow speed and i mentioned rain-x and he looked at me as if i was crazy and it made me wonder.am ithe only one to usethis? does anyone else use rain-x on their windscreens?

on my helmet shield yes. windscreen no. i guess im not seeing the use for that being on there unless you have a huge harley like one.

k. i usually put it on there but sometimes i have to turn my head to get the wind to really blow the water off. but it beads off like a champ so i dont see anything wrong with it. all my friends do it too. a buddy of mine uses that turtle wax ice on his sheild. says it works like a charm too

I use Rain-X. That's what it's for, removal of rain.

Though, over a long period of time, it'll eventually yellow the plastic a little, but that takes a LONG time, and you'll usually replace your visor/helmet before then anyway. Waxing your visor with car wax also does the trick as well.

ok guys thanks for the reply. im glad i am not alone but ive tried wax in the past and it never seems to do as good a job or lasts as long as rain-x

i use plex us on my it cleans really good and makes the water bead off really good i would be dead or close to it with out ive been getting caught in the rain a lot this season

Never had a problem with the rain beeding but with the fogging up.
