Are the radar detectors legal in US? In my country they are...i'm using one in my car and is pretty handy...i bet it could be very usefull and the bike...

State by state the law varies...some states it is fine

There arre only 3 states that dont allow radar detectors DC, and i cant remember the other 2, but they are in that region. And its a no no in military bases or 18 wheelers.

Virginias another state that prohibits them. Im not sure about the last state.

We even have radar DISRUPTORS fitted to some of the bikes - expensive, but effective !
Radar detectors are old hat........

VA will GET you for radar detecs, my dad got like 5 tickets for having one back in the day

Does any of you have a detector monted on the bike? I found a how to tutorial on hoe to mount a lighter adapter but i dunno how detector works cause i presume sound is a little obstructed by the wind and the helmet...any ideeas?
