So I was riding in the country today since it was a nice beautiful 55 degree weather. I was taking this one 25mph curve at about 55 and right at the end of the curver, there's a county sherrif car tagging people coming out of the opposite end 30mph curve, but he see's me. I didn't come out of the curve too hot, maybe like 60, but I break it hard and went down 45. The posted speed is 55.

So the cop follows me and I'm like... oh ****, he's gonna pull me. Sure enough, 2 mins later, pulls me. At this point, my bike is so not legal, no mirrors, plate parallel to the ground (), and such. he comes up and goes:

officer: "you in a hurry son?"
me: "no sir, but I got class soon"
officer: "you know how fast you were going?"
me: "about 50ish I'd say"
officer: "you sure? you like look like you were going faster then that and slowed down pretty hard when you saw me"
me: "I'm sure I was only going about 50 since that curve is a 25mph curve"
officer: "Why you going so fast in that curve?"
me: "... because... its... *pause* its a cruve..."
officer: "oh ok, you just stay safe now"

And because of that, I was late to my class. I would have prolly taken the speeding in a 25mph curve going faster then 55 as a compliment... but I was really looking forward to that 30mph curve though...

Wow, you're luckier than me with sheriffs. I got pulled over by an off duty sheriff, took pictures with his car of me passing him on the right... long story, about a 1000$ later and 2 months, I have another 3 months until my rehearing, and after my aggressive driving class... sheriffs are not fun to play with.

 

Around here, the Sherrifs are on a mission. If you would have done that, instead of a see ya later, you would have gotten the latex glove treatment.
