Thats tricky there man. You will deff not have to pay both tickets, only 1 per day. but i dont know anything about the touching of the cover and shyt. If you complain too much they might just tow it next time for being parked illegally, which will most likely end up much worse and more expensive. Talk to your land lord and see if you can just park in the yard or next to the entrance or something.

Or make friends with somebody with a car and park in front of their car. Or park inside. Or get a locking cover. Or get an alarm and ask the officer after he sets it off where he thinks you should park. If he's a jerk, go to the dean of students. Bikes take up what, 4 feet of space width wise? You could park on the grass, or sometimes even inside. get creative here and let us know how it turns out

i rent a storage unit about a mile away from where i live. drive my truck there, ride, put the bike back and drive my truck back. if im going to be gone for an extended period of time i leave my truck on the road that the storage place is on and walk the 200 yards or so to my bike. Other than that can you park on the street or is it all metered parking? or permit parking?

The Public Safety Officer could argue he needed to remove the cover to do a routine check of a plate or identification. If it was parked "illegally" they could notify the police to have it towed, that is what they would do here. On our campus when they look for the parking pass (which they have a set area in which you can post it) and you have a cover they normally are courteous and leave it like they found it. 3 hours is not a time one would expect a covered motorcycle to be moved, you could try your luck in saying the second ticket was given in haste.

I have been in a few similar situation at my school in Illinois... Whenever I have received a parking ticket I go to the office of parking and transportation and ask them very politely if there is anything they can do for me because I don't have a whole lot of money.. and they always knock the offenses down to $5.

My last parking ticket (2 actually) in August my motorcycle permit expired on the 15th and I thought it had expired on the 31st.. I told them it was my fault I had thought it hadn't expired yet.. and I came out to my bike and there were two tickets when I hadn't even seen the first one... I asked if she could help me out at all and she knocked out one of the tickets and knocked the other down to 5 bucks... so just go over there and be as nice as you canremember its not their fault the parking officers can be dicks, and they should help you out.

No chance of them reducing ****..... this place is such BS everything they do is trying to screw the students out of money cause the fundign for the school has been cut.

Martin: Believe me a furry of curse words was unleashed at the "public safety office" and all the douche said was next time ill make sure to rip the cover off and have it towed. Only reason i walked out of the office is cause i was on the phone with my mother b4 i went in and she said she wasnt bailing me out if i did something stupid haha

Going to file a complaint against the office as well as go to the dean.... i am NOT paying these BULL**** tickets
