I still wonder why people throw away money on pre orders.

 

I'll tell you why I did it. I live in a pretty small town, and I told my son I would buy him Fable II today. We called Wal*mart, Fred Meyer, and the local Game Swap...nobody had it. The mall is the next town over, along with Circuit City. We went to Blockbuster, and they had two left so we bought it.The same thing will happen when Gears comes out.My town is too small for options, so I pre-ordered. If I lived in Chicago or Dallas or Atlanta, I wouldn't be as concerned.

 

****. The last city I lived in was 116,000 and I remember when halo2 came out. EVERYONE said it was gonna be hard to get all over the US. I skipped a college course and went to target, O' around 10 am and no one was there. Well 4 moms picking it up for their sweety pies.
