Powder coating rims?

well i am not sure if the stock rims are powdered or painted...i only think a light powder because i think paint would scratch much more easily than they actually do....
as for taking off powdercoat...once again it is dependent on the thickness.....brake fluid can completely strip away powdercoat.....so i am assuming if you used any type of stripper on the wheels, that it MIGHT remove the PC as well....
i am no expert and i have no idea what Honda uses....except that i don't like it...
....i don't like the matte finish, it's gets too dirty easily and it just looks blah in my opinion....it seems harder that regular paint, but not as tough as a thicker powder (they might just a more durable paint...dunno)....
i do know that although PC is great...it's still scratchable, removable, chippable, and all that other good stuff....you still have to be careful...just not quite AS careful as with paint...thats my take at least...
would curious to find out what Honda uses though...
