RE: possibly moving
Job market's tight in Florida. I could hardly get an interview in the six months I was in Brevard (not Broward) the first half of this year andI have a bachelor's in chemical engineering andalmost fouryears' experience. Make sure where everyou're going they are looking for people with your credentials, most of the gov't firms in the area were looking for people with EE degrees and five to ten yearsor they weren't even looking at your CV. Contact a lot of headhunters because mine weren't doing jack for me. Unless you're independently wealthy, then none of that would matter.
Also, be prepared for three months of spring and nine months of hot, humid summer because that is the weather in Pembroke Pines. The weather down there is great this time of yearall, I love Florida's weatheryear round and I'm freezing my *** off here in Tidewater, VA. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

RE: possibly moving
If I didn't have a great gf and great freinds I probably already would have moved. But I want to move to a carribean island and just be a bartender or something. Moving to the carribean for a few years is definitly something that I am going to do at some point in my life, but I got too much holding me back now. I think I'd be happy is I just got the hell out of south jersey... this place sucks *****.[sm=icon_guiness.gif]
