Sooo...
I finally got around putting the new cover on. It looked a bit old so I gave it some fresh high temp black paint and clear coat. I then drained the remaining oil and changed the oil filter. This was a complete biatch because I couldn't get enough clearance for my filter keytool to fit. I ended up removing the headers which ate up some time. It was too late to start her yesterday night so I did so this morning when I warmed up the F4 for work. She started up first try! I'll now have to work on the subframe, fairings, upperstay and other bits and bobs to get her in touring shape. I also received the three piece hard luggage set I ordered and the Scottoiler V-System with dual injector along with the SPY 5000 alarm. I've got some tinkering to do.

yay! glad to here she's alive! sounds like Ur going to have a fun time installing the goodies..
