Poor advice and poor site.
Well to answer the original question to BMG (this topic drifting off so far is a prime example of what he is complainging about) I agree to a point. Now before you start hating just remember im just a member who cares and still like it around here. But there are a few things concerning me. First of all I know it isnt riding season for a lot of members and I think that is where most of my problem lies. People on here lately seem like they want to talk more about nascar or gixxer bashing then about honda's and moto related news. When im on other forums I cant even get through all the information in one sitting. Here its about a ten minute spin of the same "pfff go check google newb" from a guy who was asking what a CCT was a month ago but now has a high post count and thinks they are the shiznit. They only reason they have a high post count is because they have been posting about how some dude is gay because he likes gordon. A forum is a place to ask questions you have. People around here have been real snappy lately. Telling poeple use the search button because the question has just been asked. You really think someone who is new to the site and more than likely new to the bike scene (since there asking a reacurring question) knows about search. NO they came on here with a question and thought hmm I hope these people know what to do im running out of ideas and I need and answer quick. And whats the first thing they get? Shot down by some loser who probably doesnt know the answer themselves because if they did they would post it themselves. Its things like this that made BMG say what he said. Now it might have been a bit harsh but I see where he was coming from.
There are certainly two sides to every coin... I see both points of view. Yes there are a TON of "useless" threads and a lot of "useless" information - but that is why most of this is contained in the "Off Topic" section.
If you have a serious question about your particular bike, then take it to it's designated area. The thread starter is responsible for for keeping his topic on track... moderating the conversation so it is productive and doesn't turn into more useless nonsense.
Not all members know about or utilize the Search feature which is sad. ****, I didn't know about it until after I had a hundred posts or more. All I would do is search the first few pages of the F4i section and if I couldn't find what I was looking for = NEW THREAD! And at the time no one bit my head off for asking a "dumb" or repeated question. I am thankful now though that I know how to use the search feature... it has saved my **** from embarrassment on several occasions!
The beef I do have with a lot of members/threads: It seems like there are ahundreds ofthreads about "personal taste" items. Take exhaust systems for example: There are dozens of threads asking "What do you think I should buy?"and they pop up every other week. These kinds of threads annoy the hell outta me so I avoid them at all costs. But more power to the people who do offer input... that's what we're here for.
All in all I love this place. I give my 2 cents if I know that I can help. If I can't, well I will try and point the person in the right direction if I've read something before. If I can't do that, well then I move on and make no comment. But when it's ME that has the question - I moderate "my" thread and keep it productive so as to avoid becoming a disgruntled member... like BMG.

Custom Bike Racing=CBR, I could totally be wrong here but theat seems to be the obvious next step.

Seriously though I beleive it is for City Bike Racing. Most people probably have no clue so they added the racing at the end to just let us know.
You wouldn't beleive how many people think the doubleR stands for road race or street Racing/track Racinginstead of race replica.
Also kinda like Honda's car side with the TypeR(acing) and Type S(port). You see Honda Type R Racing all the time.
