$200 buy in, 90 person tournament...long story short, i get my pocket rockets cracked by some idiot who goes all in pre flop with pocket 4...caught another 4 on the turn, JUST AFTER THE GUY SITTING NEXT TO HIM ANNOUNCES TO THE TABLE THAT HE FOLDEDTHEOTHER4! he had ONE out and caught it...prior to today, pokers been pretty good to me, ive won $4,000 the past month, and its how i paid for my bike...BUT COME ON!!! i know im gonna hear "that poker" and "pocket rockets arent that great" but agains pocket 4s? when someone already folded another 4? i wanted to punch the donk...

 

That is the "joy" of poker. Not only do you have a chance when you have no idea what you are doing, but you have to watch the rookies who go "all in" for no reason at all other than chance. Sorry, dude, but sometimes it is not all science or skill. You wre just a victim of chance...haha...I would be the idiot that could beat you 'cause I had no idea what I was doing!

Who went all in when and where in the hand? Pre-flop all in with 4's at final table isn't a bad move if FIRST, if only for the blinds. If it's still early, well, an all in with 4's or A's pre-flop is retarded if you hope to survive long enough to play some good poker.

obv, going all in at the first table with a monster like AA is pretty stupid, and obv. that wasnt my intentions...i raised 1/3 of my chips, i had one caller and then the idiot went all in on me, and of course i have to call...ideally i would've liked to slow play after the flop

it couldve been 4000 more if i won tonight...im a VERY sore loser when it comes to poker, everyone i know plays for fun...but me, i play to win, i take it so seriously, one day i want to play in the World Series of Poker...its not just a hobby to me, i feel like one day i might just build upa bankroll and head to vegas...

 

the first 2500 i made was on pokerstars.com, but they shut down neteller, so i dont play there anymore, the 1500 i won playing 2 consecutive 40 person live tournaments...
