I keep hearing this lvl 55 for cod4. Is that for consoles or something??? I have the PC version and I beat it on normal and got the plane mission. Some guy said I must have kicked *** on the game. I dont know what he's talking about.

 

Mind wasn't even going in that direction Spirit thank for the heads up, you know I'm not a big gamer, but I would love to have a set of those NVIDIA new 8800 GTX

 

Dont waste your money on those. You get a set of the 8800GT's to perform with them.


Nvidia is also coming out with a new 8800GTS 512mb version that is the same as the GT but better.

 

Yeah, you were right the first time. $200 new GT will beat the last gen $500 GTX.

Finally. Imagine how much healthier the industry would be if regular people could actually afford the hardware to run the software.

 

level 55 is on xbox live. you rank up and earn different weapons and perks. then you have a choice to prestiege over which basically means you start over from scratch but you get a cool insignia next to your name letting everyone know how many times you have beaten it. also your leaderboard score stands . and as far as the "plane" scenario goes you get that after you beat the campagin and let the credits roll through .

 

^^ The only thing about COD4's ranking system is that the rank only shows how much a player has played a game. Even if you are dead last, no kills, 22 deaths and on the loosing team, you still gain points towards your rank. So you could totally suck *****, but play much more than me and still come out with a higher rank.

So...........rank really means nothing in this game.
