Only reason i'm a regular to this forum because all of the others I seem to read are full of little kids and people who don't care about their own safety. Reason why I visit this forum just about everyday.

the viper forum is probably the most responsible group of adults I've ever seen... really nice and just full of helpful advice

Oh wait no, it's the exact opposite of that [:-]

I have been on three other forums. One of them had really nice people and was small, like this one, one had alot more people but seemed like there was alot of time between responses, and the third was had a bunch of jerks that made me feel really unwelcome. This place just had a different vibe. I have probably logged under 100 posts at all those other forums combined. This place is my cup of tea! The mods and admins here are regular folk andnot a bunch of stuck up ****** (except for that Voodoo @$$hole and Havoc "The Axeman" who will lock or move your thread faster than you can say lickity-split )...ahhhh, I think I am going to smoke a big bowl of high on life!

This site has the most respectful, courteous people I have come across.

In other words, it's not an elitist bunch.

Also, more diversity here in topics and some control as to what is and is not posted.

Always a comfortable place.

I'm on a bunch of different forums that I frequent daily, including our local south florida sportbike forum (soflasportbikes.com... I'm a mod there[:-]... scary), as well as SBN, cbrworld, supersportbike, sportbikeaddics, blokessportbike, georgiasportbike, chicagolandsportbike, usasportbikers, twowheelforum, sportbikeforum, cflriders (central florida forum), honda-tech. Also a few other ones that I haven't posted on in awile. I registered on onedownfiveup but haven't got the confirmation email from the admin yet... oh well.

But still, this is indeed one of my favorite forums Lots of good info, all CBRs, everybody gets along, always something new going on (I get bored on forums that move soooo sloooooowwwww). I'm sticking around here for awile! And I agree, it seems like alot of responsible and respectful riders. I can't stand drama, especially on a M/C forum, and I don't see that here so that's good. I've been on a few forums that everything turns into a big dramatic 15 page thing... not feeling it. I'm still an all around postwhore though, but I usually get along with everybody

Wow... I'm so proud. I mean you never know. You feed them, care for them and try to teach them, but when your children turn out well... it just tears you up.

It's nice to see so many compliments about the forum. We (mods and admins) try to do our best and hope that we continue to make this a "Cheers" (where everyone knows your name, and they're always glad you came...now if we could figure out the beer part) for riders for many, many more years.

And it's not just the mods and admins, we act on members suggestions to keep the ball rolling. Thanks to everyone.

This is my first and only forum, couldn't have picked a better one. I tried out the 'world' and Speed Channel's F1 group but I found myself twisting the throttle over to here every day. Soon I started ruminating about posts at work, getting online instead of doing my dailies...I'm preety well an addict, but it's just such a swell place. I also looked for other forums in Britain and Australia but the graphics and setups were all second-tier (no offense, mates). The only thing I really wish for is to have a couple real live Honda techs in the house...

Yea, this place rocks! (how mature do I sound?)

anyway, I been on my share of Car forums (thius is my only bike forum and I'm sticking with it.) but it seems like a repeating theme, On Mini2.com it seems like it takes forever for a topic to get started, on Carrito.net (spanish puertorican car forum) it seems like its all about street racing and bashing other members (I'm puertorican BTW and I support carrito.net just get bored with it sometimes) but in RX8club.com it seems like the people are a lot like here, gear heads that want to have a good time and talk shop with other people that are as passionate about their car/bike as they are.

Anyway I love this place.
