Maybe some people own their bikes because it simply another mode of transportation, no better or worse than a pick-up or a sports car or a sedan. Maybea bike is a tool thatfills a function left out by owning just a Excursion or a big *** truck.Maybe they dont care about labels or chrome or rearsets or nonsense like undertails and slip ons. Maybe there are people out there will just 'take the bike' because it is better on gas or don't want to hear a cell phone. My guess there are 50 types of motorcycle owners.

c'mon that is the dumbest idea....not mention, you talk about people that ride to be seen, you are posting to be seen...just in a different way....you think because you don't go to the mall to hangout and you ride that that makes you better.....even more so, you think trying to show how much you do ride to a bunch of riders (obviously we all ride here) is any different than hanging at the mall....you are posting mileage to show off....

i can't believe how dumb an idea that is....so i guess because some people can't ride everyday, that makes them a wuss, or because they like to have a nice bike, that is silly too....

i know let's start a thread about how much money we have spent on our bikes...then we can see who really CARES about their bike, and those who don't....we can post a bill everytime we buy something....then if you don't have money, they can be jealous...!!

this is stupid, putting miles on your bike doesn't make you a good rider and not putting miles on your bike doesn't mean your just riding to look cool, thats idiotic logic

as sportbike riders we have to deal with enough crap from people that don't like motorcycles, adding prejudice against other riders because they don't ride 500 miles a week isbull****. I f'in hate that kind of "I'm better than you" attitude that so many riders seem to be adopting towards others because they don't have chicken strips or they don'tride a lot. If you think your just so damn good because of what your odometer says, use your "experience" to benefit other people not to judge them.

ride your own damn bike and let other people ride theirs, its non of anybody's f'in business if somebody rides because they enjoy it or because they wanna look cool or whatever, it doesn't matter. This isn't an exclusive club with an interview and an essay to get in, its a mode of transportation and to some, a hobby or just a fun thing to do on the weekend. Nobody has to ask your ****in opinion on how they should ride their motorcycles and thats the way it should be. If I wanted to hang out in a mall parking lot and talk about the new "gixxer" with my "hommies", I'm not gonna listen to some ***** say he's a better rider than me because he put 500 miles on his bike over the weekend.
