Default Pilot view (for the RC Pilot)

$549 isn't really that expensive!

But I preferred the one that was in the car where the head swiveled to allow you to look at where you were heading. I think it would be pretty funny to watch a person lose their balance using this thing while performing barrel rolls. I myself would probably be puking up my lunch.

That's awesome. Reminds me of one of those home alone movies with the RC truck.

When did they start selling UAVs to the public?

Covert, un-announced government training for the next generation soldiers.

This reminds me of this plane my neighbor once had. (He owned and operated a local hobby shop.)
It was a c-130 replica with a cargo door. The thing was a monster. Everything was functional. Retractable gear, the cargo door worked, everything. it had like a 30 pound possible cargo capacity.
If I had one of those cameras I would have bought it from him. Imagine, loading it up full of whatever you desire. Be it makeshift mini-bombs or bags of dog ****, and carpet bombing your neighbors all from the privacy of your living room. Once done, land on the street, hit the garage opener, and taxi it inside.

Hasn't Hunter Ellis done a "Tactical to Practical" episode on this?

I'm guessing technically it would be easier to fly from that first person perspective than it is to fly the R/C from a traditional (from the ground) perspective.

Way cool... wow
