Pictures at work
I Had an idea, some of us have interesting jobs, while others have interesting times at work., & some are blessed with both, and of course pictures will be taken. Well I have pictures that I have collected over time I figured why not share & hope that it would catch on & others will do the same.
So I thought that it would work like this:
With the rule that the picture/s must come from your work day.
A brief description of your line of work. Why if you want to says so.
A short caption with the picture.
Myself I work Ems on the nite shift. Nite shift ems is different on many levels, full of people with questionable sensibility, complete crazy, & the inebriated. On occasion I actually help someone that is in need of genuine help or just simply help someone have a better day.
Pictures: something unique, a situation, a place or an object that not everyone would encounter.
Waking up the nice folks at the hotel in the middle of the nite.
Fire training, it may no look that bad, but nether does the outside of an brick oven till your in it.
Maybe some of your questionable co-workers.
See description above.
Something different from your ordinary day.
Rendezvouswith medivac
Or something picture worthy that you may encounter while at work that may be totally unrelated.
While at the rendezvous we saw this, it is a Piaggio P.180 Avanti
Or something with something that is totally awesome.
A friend of mine (in the white shirt), that chose to jump in for the save. I had to improvise this picture, don’t always get to take the picture in this line of work.
Please use the best of common sense when posting any picture.
Tell us about your work place.
Have a happy Labor Day.

Interesting ^, guys like you saved my life when My friend rolled my jeep. I was air-cared to Cincinatti.
I am Co-owner of Cutting Edge Lawn LLC. We are a lawn and landscape company and do lots of various jobs. I love working outside and everyday of work is different.
Heres a little of the kind of work we do- before and after landscape.

My job isn't very exciting, usually lol. I work for a well servicing company in the oil fields in western North Dakota. The place is a wasteland (compared to where I live).
How we dress in the winter when it gets down well below -50f
Jobsite
Oil well with the moon as a background
Weather pics
The second photo is an awesome sunset photo I snapped. Several funnel clouds touched down that evening....

I work in this building
or this building (They're connected on the concourse level, so 'technically' they're only one building)
And this guy (Bernanke) ate lunch with me once just because I looked like someone interesting to talk with
Saw this guy (Greenspan), but never talked to him
This guy is pretty cool... bow ties, piercings, awesome moustache...
P.S. all these images are public domain.

great off-topic thread idea, bet everyone has something interesting to share.
my work allows me to travel to a lot of places, which to me is probably more interesting than the job itself. If you've ever watched the show "how it's made", you already have some idea of what most of my job involves -- i spend time on plant manufacturing floors and in data centers working with the computers that control manufacturing for regulated industries (drugs, chemicals, food).
most places i go are pretty sensitive to having pictures taken of their sites or processes, but i'm sure i have a few around i can come up with.

Well, I went through some of my old "misc" folders of pics and found a few:
Demon, U propably meant these:
Just another beautiful winter day round here.
The same place, about 200 yards forward one another day, a Polish trucker got a crash course on driving in slushy snow.
My front rim after the first pic. Bought studded snow tires for next winter, still gotta swap all 4 back tires before the snow, currently my set could be approved by FIA for track slicks...
This was a bit of a head-scratcher...
I was told to load from bay 62. Take a guess did I...
A vid of one day at work.
Won`t embed, but click on the pic if U want to see it. Pretty boring actually, just me driving around Lahti, but the weather that day was somewhat interesting...
...And the office itself:
A `04 MAN TGA 18.313 FLLC. 12litres straight six, packs a decent punch but guzzles enormous amounts of diesel compared to it`s average cargo load. It normally consumes about 29-30 litres/100km which equates around 8 MPG

As with any job in retail, we get our rushes and our slow spots. We also get a fair share of interesting bikes from time to time, but everyone's out riding since we're nearing the end of the season.
Get to drool over the king of kings all day:
Keep an eye on my baby "Makoto":
And here's something a bit different, a free pen holder for joining team Yoshimura (They engrave it and it's real CF, not amazing, but pretty cool):
