That satellite one was a real good one .....a bloody biggie too..
On a side note -
I have one fear nagging in the back of my mind though about all this ...
I only hope he and the media has not made to much of an impression on the world and that the fanfare about this has not taken the eye of any undesirable people ..
We have a saying that I am not sure is known or used over in the US and its called the ...
Tall Poppy Syndrome ...I seriously hope he does not fall into this category or fall victim to this ..
( This syndrome is where the people that get the most attention tend to get chopped down)
It is a sad fact that the most popular and what you might call radical people that have become famous for doing something slightly different than normal ( the first Black President) tend to get the attention of undesirable factions and in some cases individuals....
I hope and pray that he stays safe and does a great job for the US and the world ...

A state of emergency was called for this one to fund it because it ended costing over 170million and noone seems to care in a dismal economy.
It is somewhat aggravating no matter what side of the political spectrum you are on that someone so commited to "CHANGE" has the guall to spend that kind of money considering everything going on right now in the economy. It could have been scaled down appropriately....

it has been the case that no matter where within government you look , from this type of BS to the day to day running cost of them , governments are the biggest waste of money that has , or will ever be in my opinion..
It surprises me not that this thing cost like it did and you must realize that they do not really give a **** about you or me or what we think !!! .... they say they do , but their first aim is to get themselves into positions where they are the best looked after and wheel the most power possible...
Politicians are best at feathering there own nests , always have and always will...
