saw the custom split painted yamaha at the international motorcycle show and im NOT big on chrome, wide tires, extensions and all that nonesense....just not my thing, but i will say this.....that yamaha is INSANE! very nice looking bike.

Surprised to see shinkos on custom bikes.
i doubt some of those stretched bikes would know it if a twisty smacked them in the face so why go for top dollar tires lol
Alot of those guys draw more from the drag race scene, and in that case, Shinkos work vary well. They have a thick sidewall, and flat contact patch; so when running 18 or so psi, they hook really well. My friend Andy has a 450hp turbo Hayabusa that runs mid to hi 7s, and he hooks it up with a Shinko 190. I'm not saying that the customs are raced, but that might be their excuse for the cheep tires.

holy s**t i just realized that the two yami pictures were the same bike!! thats one of the sickest bikes ive ever seen

to afi on the shinkos: definitly does make sense that if the shinkos are good for drag racing that they would be on a stretched bike

ive seen them on some custom stretched bikes on ebay too and i always wondered why they would go with them... now i can look at the ads and know they did it for performance, not so they can afford more chrome haha....

good pics tho thanks for sharin them
