Alot of those guys draw more from the drag race scene, and in that case, Shinkos work vary well. They have a thick sidewall, and flat contact patch; so when running 18 or so psi, they hook really well. My friend Andy has a 450hp turbo Hayabusa that runs mid to hi 7s, and he hooks it up with a Shinko 190. I'm not saying that the customs are raced, but that might be their excuse for the cheep tires.

i doubt some of those stretched bikes would know it if a twisty smacked them in the face so why go for top dollar tires lol

holy s**t i just realized that the two yami pictures were the same bike!! thats one of the sickest bikes ive ever seen
to afi on the shinkos: definitly does make sense that if the shinkos are good for drag racing that they would be on a stretched bike

ive seen them on some custom stretched bikes on ebay too and i always wondered why they would go with them... now i can look at the ads and know they did it for performance, not so they can afford more chrome haha....
