all I know, is that women are insane despite their claims of normality. ALL women are insane.

being gay has its advantages in this aspect.

i approach it a little differently...the brain is a super complicated network and when certain chemical levels are off then it can sway your mood/behavior a lot, in other words there's no solution or secret. hormones control you more than you think. same thing as waking up one morning and being down in the dumps no matter what you do to cheer yourself up. I've been out riding before and found little to no enjoyment in it no matter how hard I tried and other days I've been completely into it and stayed out for hours. I'm also unreasonably down more than usual during the winter months...known as seasonal affective disorder, pretty common thing

I say just let em ride it out and stay out of the way unless I'm gettin a beej lol....luckily my gf remains sane...apparently those cramps are a nightmare sometimes tho....i'll take her word for it since i don't have a va-gine-gine

so wait.. whats the question here? is it WHY do they go crazy? if so, then ^^ Aweasel's got it pretty spot on. It's just like a dude getting roid rage. you throw off hormone levels and stuff goes haywire.

side note, i find it mildly comical that the Acronym for Seasonal Affective Disorder is SAD.

and i too get unexplained mood swings but its more like once every two months... my girlfriend calls it HE.M.S.

Women will always be bitches, even if its there hormones or not. they are bitches.

they have pre menstrual cramps - they are bitchy

they have their period - they are bitchy

they are ovulating (pretty sure its right after their period) - they are bitchy

correct me if i am wrong, that is about 3 out of 4 weeks a month they are bitchy, plus a few wrong side of the bed days, and you pretty much get a person you want to be around about 4 days a month.

maybe I just have a habit of dating bitches who are nice every so often.

I don't go through this $hit anymore. The wife had an implant after her caesarian a year ago and that made her to completely stopped the monthly thing. No cramps, no bitching, no worries, sex can be served 24/7...period!

Trying to understand women is just crazy talk. Hormone levels be damned they're just not understandable.

And to whoever said that is one of the advantages to being gay ... just wonderin what the others were ... cause I can not think of any ... even with the monthly rage they are soft and smell nice.

Hmm, so ... we are all crazy bitches eh??

I dont tend to be crazy or bitchy ...I get a little more emotional, sometimes weepy but only for a couple of days ... I dont tend to get cramps too bad, some months are worse than others but its quite bearable ... hormone levels can play havoc with our feelings of well being, its hormones that generally makes us feel good or bad ..levels need to be balanced to feel good.

You guys get cranky and grumpy with the onset of middle age and old age due to falling testosterone levels ..low levels of this will make you irritable, less tolerant ..ever heard the term "grumpy old men" ..its a real phenomenon ..lol

Anyway, male or female ..old or young, we can all have high days and low days ..its just nat.ural and doesnt always mean outside factors are causing it ... Seasonal Affective Disorder is a real issue with many too ..it can almost completley incapacitate some peoples ability to want to perform, in others just a mild feeling of being down or a bit blue ..we all need the bright sunlight whether we believe it or not, it affects seratonin and melatonin levels to quite a degree ..look at suicide rates in countries where there is little sunlight.

My take though is that if anyone husband, wife, friend, partner, colleague is being grumpy or bitchy with you then walk away ..you are not there to be the target of their narkiness, dont antagonise them but dont take it either, simply walk away ..go someplace else, they will soon get the message that their bad moods dont work on you ..if they are sane and rational they will change their behaviour toward you ..if you are with someone who is continually narky or bitchy then you have to ask yourself is that who you want to be with because their moods will drag you down too ... basically avoid negative and grumpy people, theres just no need for it.
