Default People in the North East: Question ... ?

...

Is it going to snow again??

As we know, last year this time there was a couple feet of snow on the ground.

Well, this year (as we know) theres nothing, and Im getting sick of driving with snow tires on my car, losing MPG and wearing the tread out for no reason.

So if ANYONE has an opinion on this matter please lmk because Im thinking about getting the snow tires taken off this weekend.

Thanks.

You dont take them off in the summer?

I just couldnt take it any longer today lol... rav4 snow tires are 215s with decent tread on them, so I can really feel it holding back on the highway, and it affects handling, MPG etc as you know

Its just not worth it I cant imagine not just the North East, but North America having another significant snowstorm anytime soon.

Ya I leave them on year round. They are falcon winterforce tires and after 50000 km they are still half tread.

It's a rule that as soon as you take off your snow tires it'll snow buckets on the rest of us. That would make my wife and many other New Englanders happy.

The next person that uses the 4 letter 'S' word will have their password set to a randomly generated 32 character string that changes hourly!

I've got 300 miles to go on my s1000rr before they'll remove the rev limiter. And the 'S' word scared PennDOT SO MUCH Saturday that they dumped enough salt on the roads you'll get high blood pressure driving today!

SALT is a 4 letter "S" word & in my opinion can be just as bad as some other 4 letter "S" words. But I agree, once you swap the tires out you'll need them.
