So after a 3 YEAR absence from riding, I decide it was time to get some new gear since my rebuild will be done soon. I ordered a couple ICON products, their helmet saved my melon in my last accident and now will live by there products, and a new lid. The lid was relatively inexpensive at $170, it meets DOT and EU standards but I have never ever heard of the manufacture before, Speed and Strength. Has anyone heard of them before?


This is the helmet I ordered and color scheme. I have a KBC Tarmac helmet as well but it is black and want to be seen at night so I got it in white.

 

decent price and yes Icon is a great brand and has good quality products.

 

Nice where did you order it from? I got a Brand new Jacket from Motorcycle superstore and it was to big and they wont take it back, so now I'm stuck with it . I have never heard of that helmet brand but it looks nice.

I first heard of speed and strength last year when they sponsored the xdl stunt show that was in town during motoGP. I've looked at there stuff but haven't talked to anyone who has it.

 

I am DEFINITELY looking for to Moto GP this year. My MC gets tickets every year and this will be the first time for me to join them. I am really looking forward to it.

 

I bought my boyfriend a Speed and Strength jacket last year and as far as I know he loves it. A friend's wife got one at the same time he did. I just got one last month. Only thing I don't like is that the pockets are small (so I always have them stuffed since I don't have under seat storage) and the sleeves are a little short, but most sleeves are short on me since I'm tall. The other jacket I have and my helmet and gloves are Icon and I've had it for years, but it was starting to get a little snug... so I'm keeping it in the closet and maybe one of these days I'll get back to the gym.
