Ordeal with Insurance OVER!

RE: Ordeal with Insurance OVER!
glad it worked out good for you. I'm shure you will love the 07, I had a chance to ride WhiteDealershipRice's 07 when I was visiting him, and it was sex on wheels, it's not heven and earth diferent than the 06 but it's definitivley better.
I wouldn't trade my 06 for it yet (just because i'm in love with it) but if I had to choose between the 2 the 07 would be my choice. That or a REPSOL 07 1000RR, just for the sexy paint and exclusivity of having a repsol. I know there is nothing different between it and the regular 1kRR. And any littre bike would be a little too big for me.

+1 on what RCR said, depending on how you are being financed.
If its a standard installment loan, where you have x amount of set payments of the same price, it will raise your payment like $10-$15 for some gear. but you will be paying interest on it as well.
Or, if they have you on a credit card set up, like a Polaris or Suzuki car, you will have a seperate payment for the gear, at 15.9% interest (or more).
So it really depends on how you are being fianced. But if you think about it, if they are giving you a big enough call to get that, they can tgrow your gear into financing and you will have a secondar track bike.
Just depnds on if paying interest on gear is work it for you or not. But its not like you will be paying a lot of interest on gear since the interest in an installment loan is calculated off the top amount.

I'm getting a regular automotive/motorcycle loan. I got a flat rate of 6.00% for the new bike up to $15,000. So even though I can finance more, my payments are actually $20 cheaper per month than my loan for my now "previous" bike.
I'm going to finance the red lower fairings, the black upper fairing, helmet, jacket, gloves and frame sliders all with the bike. Since I can order all these parts from the dealer, I carry a 15% discount on all purchases through them. (so total with all that should come out to about $9500) The rest of the stuff (Rizoma FE kit, Rizoma signals, HID headlamps, power-coating, Rizoma grips, etc.) is going to come out of the settlement money. The rest of the settlement money will either be spent on paying off a few bills or being a huge first payment towards the principle on the bike. (which sky rockets your credit rating BTW.)
So when it all comes down to it, I should have the bike looking exactly like the picture below in a matter of weeks instead of taking over a year as with my previous bike. I would have loved to keep my 06, but since I'm not, I'll be creating the 07 in the image of my 06 (with a little bit added here and there.)
Thanks again to everyone who liked my bike, and I hope I won't disappoint you with my next creation.
