seriously though, this thing is ridic.

my old granddad used to tell us stories of guys back in ww2 or kids I Should say, picking up M1's and such for the first time and the kick of the butt coming up and breaking jaws. I could only imagine what this thing would do, and this is far beyond the recoil of a garand. Cool vid.

I owned a Garand and shot many thousands of rounds out of it. It was NOTHING compared to my Springfield M1903 A3, which fired the same cartridge. That bolt action absorbs NO recoil, passing 100% of it onto the shooter.

A Limbsaver recoil pad can tame the recoil of even the most determined .577 T-Rex, however. The Limbsaver dumped my recoil off to maybe 40% of felt recoil of the .30-'06 cartridge in the 03 A3 platform.

 

Did anyone else notice the shattered safety glass behind the shooters in a couple scenes?

I want to see that firing!
