Default Oh NO! A new make!

If you had no choice but to give up your CBR and get another bike that wasnt a Honda what make would you go with and why? Im only talking basics. No Ducati or BMW.

I would choose a Yamaha jsut casue when i was looking at my first bike it was either a Honda or Yamaha.

Probably a Kawasaki ZX14.....................if I HAD to, and at a push maybe a Yamaha FJR1300. Both good high speed tourers.

I have not voted cause it's a bit specific, any of the 1st 3, but would not get a Harley.
Have owned all of the Japanese brands & have never really had problems with them.
Right now their are a couple of bikes that I wouldn't mind getting (& one is a Triumph).
A Suzuki SV1000S, nice V twin machine without the price tag or the eccentricities of a Duke. If my back would take it, maybe a Triumph Thruxton.

hard to answer this poll, as there are a lot of alternatives not represented.

Maybe its just me but i dont see whats so hard. lol if you had to choose one of the makes listed above what would it be? It can be any model you want it just has to be that make. lol Ive listed only these makes since its what most people have. Not alot of people have BMW bikes, or ducatis, or a triumph.

Went Suzuki. The GSX-R 600 isn't a bad bike. It's just gotten maligned by bad riders.

Might have gone with Buell XB12R or 1125R if Buell was an option. But didn't want anyone thinking I went HD

i chose kawasaki. i've ridden bikes from kawi, honda, suzuki, and yamaha... and by far the zx-6r was the most comfortable for me. plus.... the lime green on black just makes me hard.

For this poll, I would get a Yamaha R1, but in reality I would get the new BMW. No question about it.

I would have to go with a Suzuki GSX-R 750. I could drop the jacket and throw on a pair of shorts before I ride.
