Any time you see a thread like that, find something unique in the post (name, email, phone number - anything) and Google it. Chances are you'll see the exact same listing in other states thousands of miles away. They're spam tricks just like any other. A divorce settlement woman trying to sell it would have "I hate the ex husband, buy his toys for cheap!" blah blah stuff plastered all over the ad.

 

I sould have responded with the ol'
"I will send you a cashiers check for it right now and have my delivery people come get it."

 

The add got flaged for removal. it's a scam. I seen a few adds like that on craigslist around here and I replied to 2 of them and ocourse the seller is out of the country.
