No visible inspection sticker required
At least in TEXAS...
Just found out from a cop that having the inspection sticker visible on a motorcycle is NOT necessary.
You can actually just take the plastic it is attached to....cut it down to credit card size...and carry it in your wallet.
This might open up a whole new world to some fender eliminator guys...
It is for me...

In fact we can all thank Cali for tighter and tighter emissions restrictions...UN-leaded gas...and a whole host of other lovely crap.
Not bashing on Cali, but there are too many tree hugging, bong-head, green-peace types out there.
Maybe all motorcyclists can get together...and take them out...
Just a thought.
bash away, this state sucks for riders. we have some nice twistys and girls have nice t--tys but the law and regulations are ridiculous. i am originally from missouri, now thats a relaxed state.
lol dude are you serious? ive never heard of that kind of law in any state that ive ridden. never had to have the inspection sticker visible. that sucks cali, lol
I wouldn't recommend doing this based off of that info.

a question I have cause I dont know anything about these inspection stickers. What do they look at? I am assuming my stock can thats been cut to bout 6 inches long and is damn near straight thru would be a violation. The other question is my wife just joined the air force and we will most likely be in a new state by the end of the year, since my bike is registered in ohio at the current moment can I keep my ohio tags and not mess with inspection if the state we go to has it?
^^ As long as you keep your Ohio residency and she is in active duty you can keep your cars and Bike registered there. You cannot be forced to change residency evry time you need to relocate because of military duties.
