so the power went out at our house, along with 250,000 other people in Maine....they are expecting it to be until between Monday and Wednesday before its restored to everyone.....


add this to my list as to why i hate Maine.....

#1- Ice Storms......

 

that sucks! what do you do with the stuff in the fridge, put it out back? hope you have a gas water heater.

 

That sucks man.. Why not until Monday or wednesday? Football is on this weekend!!!

 

the stuff in the fridge/freezer....you eat.......and try to to open the door any more than you have to to let the cold air out, and buy ice at the store....this sucks i got a 6 pack at the store that wasnt in their fridge....how am i gonna cool it off? ahhhhh!

no running water or hot water.....

i got a bath tub full of water to use to flush the pottie lol.......

i have a wood stove to heat the house....but no lights at night, and no TV/internet/radio/etc......


this morning when i went outside, there was 3/4 of an inch of solid ice covering our cars, and EVERYTHING outside...... i swear you could ice skate on my normally dirt driveway.

 

put the beer outside! it should cool down out there.

 

that sucks hayden [&:]i suppose i shouldnt complain about illinois weather...but still! FACKthe coldIMO!burn in hell old man winter!

 

At that.. put everything outside.. we had to do that once when our power went out for about 2 and a half weeks

 

You can come watch the games with me in HD on my Aquos and we can drink beers and watch me crush VooDoo's silly little fantasy squad like a rotten grape!!

My wife just called me at work to inform me that the power is back on!!!!! im seriously in shock. i was mentally preparing myself for days with no power. im in such a good mood now, this is great.....
