Njdmv!!!!!!!!!
Well. At the time I purchased my bike the DMV worker told me I would have to wait 6 months before I could get my license like at 17 years old. 6 months rolls around and I go to schedule my test and It says I have to be 18. I turned 18 today and I went to apply for a road test and It now says I can't do It because I have a provisional license. I drove for a year and I can now get a normal license. Heres the thing. Why would I spend $25 to get a new license that doesn't expire for 2 more years and then have to get ANOTHER one because I got my bike license.... SO AGGRAVATING!!!!!!!!

Fairly sure someone gave you bad info somewhere in there. From what I read, you can get a M class license separate from your drivers license.
I just got back from the DMV. I am pissed. Not only cant I upgrade my license. I have to wait a FULL YEAR TILL I CAN RIDE WITH A LICENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!
WHAT THE F#@*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a waste of time and money. Im not gonna let my bike sit here and collect dust. I want some one to enjoy it so im givin her up!

But, but, your so close. Heh.
Honestly I wouldn't let it bug you so much, most of what you mentioned is in the past, leave it there, deal with whatever you need to do now, and if you want to ride, take care of it. If not, then sell it. Either way make you decision logically, not emotionally. If you can't manage that then you prolly wouldn't be safe riding anyways and selling it might be for the best, no offense.
I'd personally reccomend getting it straightened out and taking a long ride at least once before you decide.

Not sure I really understand, but just keep the bike and ride without M status. I rode without one for a while. Don't do anything stupid, and you'll be fine. It will be winter before long in NJ, and next summer will fly by.
Is this GREAT advice, probably not. Would I do it - probably so.

I don't see how/why you can't get your class M license. If you take and pass the road exam, or take and pass a MSF course, you get your class M license. You pay the $24.00 and they will have you take another picture or you can use your same picture and your license ID card will be updated with the class M endorsement.
I am sure NJ is not that screwed up! If you are talking about a full license, meaning the license without age restrictions, If NJ is like PA, then that will have to wait until you are 21 years old, otherwise, I don't see what the issue is.
Just like PA, a provisional license is for drivers under age 18 and it includes certain restrictions. Also like PA, if you are under 18, once you get your permit, you have to wait for the earlier of either 6 months or your 18th birthday before you can take the driver's exam; however, I am not sure about the class M endorsement. Now that you are 18, I don't see what the restrictions are.
Just like mentioned before, I think you got bad information from whoever you spoke to. The best thing to do is download the forms, fill them in/out and go to a different DMV and submit them. The forms should have the restriction information on it, so if someone at the DMV tries to prevent you from your submission, point out the information to correct them and ask to speak to the supervisor or superior on duty.
Good luck!

i would try another dmv... i got provisional 17, full lisence at 18 (august), then motorcycle permit sometime in the winter, and got my M endorsement by taking the MSF class the next May. All before i turned 19, unless they have changed it in the past 3 years im not really sure why this is happening to you.
