Default Nissan 370Z SyncroRev

Now, I remember, when Nissan stated that they no longer were going to make mid-range sports vehicles, when they cancelled the 300ZX, which featured things like the Super HICAS steering (Rear wheels would turn depending on the speed in turn in order to make the car more stable) because they said there was no return.

I know, in cases like GM, the Corvette was a test bed for a lot of technology that eventually found uses in other cars.

Now Nissan has a new system for the 2009 370Z that will sychronize your engine revs with the downshifting to avoid the Heel and toeing.

Here's a link with information and a vid.

It is kind of like cheating, but I like it. The whole paddle shift thing is for **** and chicks, but a little help matching revs with a manual transmissionis nice, I wish my S2000 had it.

Definitely kind of sucks for those of us who learned how to do heal-toe shifting! Now Joe Blow and his Datson are going to keep up at the track.
