Hayden says his dad wrecked so much when Nicky was growing up and he could always tell who it was becuase you could read his plate upside down or not, haha. No sexual connotation involved.

Also, in years, past, wasn't it an option to run the 990cc 4-strokes or the 500cc 2-strokes in MotoGP? If not I guess I was mistaken... ?

 

yeah the first year the 4 strokes came out, they ran along side the 2 strokes, but the theory was that a 500cc 2-stroke should make the same power as a 990cc 4 stroke, this is a different situation
they brought the bikes down to 800cc to slow them down so allowing the 990s to compete would (in theory) be a massive advantage
all that has gone out the window now that the riders are smashing the 990 lap records on the 800s, mostly due to corner speed and all that fun stuff but still the theory was to slow the bikes down for safety

 

Yes I must admit that Honda is doing everything in their power to push that little **** Pedrosa. I can't stand that little bastard. They basically gave Hayden all prototype equipment last year so they would not be to far behind on the 800cc development and gave Pedrosa the older more reliable 990cc RC211v. But our man beat the odds and showed what he is made off. I don't like what Honda is doing to Hayden, but they make the best bikes. It's like being married with a girlfriend.
