Default Nice Day for a ride -56K Warning

I love the autumn. Nice chill in the air and the smell of burning wood coming from the chimneys.

Note: this pic is from the top of my driveway, looking down the street.

Today, was a very nice day, temperature wise, so I figured I would suit up and head out...

The one thing I love about the US is the fact that in its own way, it is all beautiful. Pennsylvania is no exception. I thought I would take my Canon XTi with me, in case I was "inspired," but I secretly wish I had a video camera. It was a really nice ride, traveling down unfamiliar roads, through yellow and orange tunnels created by the boughs of the trees.

I saw quite a few places I wanted to stop and take pictures, but I only made 3 stops.

First up was at a horse ranch. It had a marvelous view. The first couple shots, did not come out that well, but apparently I attracted some attention of some of the locals...

I actually thought that this might look good as a banner too.

Further down the road, I found a run down barn at a t-intersection. (the scuff marks on the muffler is from when someone tried to run me off the road during the summer...guess they were successful).

And then finally a few miles from home, a couple shots at the local airport.

My ride is eternally dirty. Which is one of many reasons I rate my life as a 7

I'll probably wash it again at the beginning of next season.

Nice pics. How do you like the XTi? I have a Canon S5 IS right now, and am considering upgrading to an XTi

XTi is great...good entry model body. Though, it is now outdated.
