Default Newcastle Toy Run

Just got back from Salvation Army toy run, they had 3000+ bikes last year & guesstamit's put this year's well above that. Bit of a white knuckle experience on the 10 kay ride, getting out of the meeting place & riding three abreast in a lane at little over walking pace maneuvering for space.
Could not hear the motor of my bike, temp gauge soared. Cops turn all the lights green along the route, lots of characters going over board, dressing up as Santa & tarting up their rides.
Sorry, to late to get pics of the 3 girls dressed up as Santa's helpers, mini skirts & thongs...
Here are a few pics I took standing next to my bike.

10k at walking pace on a sport bike? 3 blocks in traffic tuckers me out

How exhausted were you?

Yeah pretty knackered, but the worry about my bike over heating & my clutch getting burnt out, worrying about some geezer on a Harley wobbling all over the place trying to keep his bike in a straight line, the guy in front propping on his brakes & fear of getting run up the backside by said Harley rider (& keeping an eye on the girls in their Santa's helpers outfits, riding their bikes) kept me real alert. Still fun though

Jealous of your weather. Would have liked to have seen more your your bike in the foreground.

Sounds like a stellar plan, pack as many inexperienced Harley riders together as tight as you can. Get them moving and then distract them with naked women. No chance of a wreck there!
