So anyone planning on attending the International Motorcycle Show
in NYC in January ????

Might be an off season opportunity for CBR Guys and Gals to oogle over
some bikes

 

Maybe this should be moved to or linked form the regional section?

I wasn't planning to, but if there are some forum members who want to go there, and maybe grab some food and drink also, I'd be up for it.

I went last year, and the manufacturers' displays weren't that interesting to me, but I liked the older bikes. They had a bunch of vintage cafe racers, and some really nice UJM models from the 1960s and 1970s.

 

Yeah I could copy it there, but off topic gets a bit more traffic from time to time
and since it's next month and all ..... hey what the heck ..... just seeing if anyone
is going , more of an arbitrary question.

I'm only 2 and a half hours from NYC, and I just talked to the wife and she said she will go on Friday. If any one else can make it Friday, it would be fun to meet up for lunch or dinner or something.

Jason Britton and Team No Limit will be there all weekend. (for you stunt fans)

 

I'll aim for Sat. Otherwise I gotta bring the girlfriend and stay the weekend...

I'd love to go Saturday, but the wife has to work that weekend and is only off on Friday. I guess I could go, Sat, but I would have to bring my little one, (well, she is going either way actually). But she LOVES bikes, so she might get a kick out of it. Whenever she sees a bike, especially my bike, all I hear is...daddy bike, daddy bike!!!! lol. But I think my wife wants to go so, Friday it is.

 

ill be going with my gf, who rides a f4i as well, and prob 1 or 2 of my buddies who ride, not sure what day probably fri or sat

 

Not riding up there, but maybe i'll take the 'hoe (my tahoe guys. But I might bring the wench too)

I'd recommend Friday because Saturday can get VERY crowded.

My kids loved the bike show when they were younger. Here's my daughter five years ago.
