Aww man...every time I see a bike with no wheels, I swear an angel loses its wings and falls down from heaven...

 

Is it hard to take the wheels off? I heard its cheaper if you just take them into the shop that way.

 

Took me maybe 15 minutes to take em off.

tools ya need are in the toolkit, and having a good rachet n metric socket set doesnt hurt. Stands are a must.

1.) Place bike on stands.
2.) Unbolt calipers.
3.) On the front loosen the akle bolt, then the pinch bolts.
4.) Use a small screwdriver, slide it into the hole in the akle, then twist and pull the akle out.
5.) Lower front wheel out n off.
6.) On the rear I use the wrenches from the toolkit. Unbolt the caliper, unbolt the akle nut. Then pull the akle out and lower the wheel and pull the chain to the side so the wheel can roll out.

Take note where which spacers came out n make sure they go back in the same place.

Thats basically it, few things I prolly left out but nothing you shouldnt be able to figure out on your own.

 

Doesn't sound too hard thanks. I need bike stands though. I'm just afraid I'm going to do it wrong and the wheel is going to go flying off at 140+

 

I highly recommend T-Rex stands, ya can find him on his ebay store. To me the only tricky part is remembering where which spacers goes. Several thing you can do the keep that straight.

I have the same tires on my F4 and I love them. You will like them alot, but they take some time to get use to.

 

My next set of tires might be a set of those Pilot Powers... if for no other reason than everyone and their mom rave about them so much. I've been using Metzeler Sportec M3's and they've worked like a champ... and I've not heard much in the way of "bad" about them... but I don't hear the masses cry out like poeple seem to on the Pilot Powers. Anybody used both and can give me some feedback? I'd love to hear someone's opinion that's ridin (hard) both sets of tires and could give me their opinions.

Just torque everything back to spec and you don't have to stress about losing a wheel.
