I went a little hog wild this week but hey, I did have a birthday and I got good news this week so I decided to spoil myself a bit. I bought a new Kimber Grand Raptor. Its a 1911 style 45 ACP from their Custom Shop. I also bought a Kel-Tec .380 for concealed carry but I didnt take a picture of it.
Anyway, here is the Kimber posing on the bed of my old utility trailer:

 

.380s are my favorite. So underestimated. I carry the Taurus Millenium Pro PT138 .380

Surprisingly concealable for a 12+1

 

Not bad, my carry is a 9mm HK USP

 

sweet piece. when i get a lot of extra cash, i'm getting a Kimber. until then i'll just carry my makarov.

super jealous you guys can conceal and carry. IL has super liberal politicians...no such thing here.

 

Before Texas created their concealed weapon law, I went by the other rule:

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6

 

Very good rule if your life is in danger! I've followed it myself... However even improper storage of a firearm in a vehicle here is a felony........ felony charge for me equals loss of job. So I dont go that route.
Before it was legal here, I wrote and called my politicians and I always VOTED....
If enough common sense people do the same, you can change it! I suggest being pro-active!
I hope IL does change, I visit often.

 

Baretta 9mm is my baby but I want to get a glock, cuz of the fact they are like feathers lol

 

I always forget to notify state police that I'm entering the state with a handgun when traveling. Thankfully I don't road trip except maybe once a year to Cape Cod.
