mutter something about the search feature
It is a feature that is woefully underused.

Have the site owner delete that mother f*****r and inside of a week and the forum will be nothing but a sea of RR vs. F4i, night vision, and oil questions.Actually, I miss the night vision thread.

But yesVoodoo...you are right, us kids can be so mean wemay scare away all our new friends.

I'll have to get in on the Night Vision thread.

However to expect someone who has been on the internet for atleast 1year and on some sort of forum for about 3months to not know there is a search feature is ludicrous. Almost all forums have it. I personally think(And the reason I've done it before) the main reason many people ask "Dumb" questions is to sort of get their foot in the door. Let people see their post and recognize their avator so later on when they have a real question other posters will have a better understanding of them. Basically they are trying to be seen. Then later on they'll be the "Search" police.

Now here is hte ironic twist. I am the search master. Sometimes I get lazy and just ask a question that has been asked before but I often use the search feature when asking a question. I've dug up posts over 5years old before and been flamed for digging up old posts. What people don't realize is my bike is 12years. But when I do search back 5years where there were still a decent bit of carbed bikes floating around there was some good information. Now it's Yoshimira Slip On, Power Commander3, Air Filter and those are your EFI bike answers for any motorcycle there is. Wether Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Triumph, Ducati, Hyosong, etc.

Basically what I am trying to say is that people flame just to flame.

But one time on I think Georgia Sportbike we had a server go down or something like that and we lost all our info. So people got to ask "Dumb" questions again. Often times the "Gixxer600/750" debate came up and people would flame "Search". Which there was no answer so it was interesting.

If someone can find the "New Thread" button that easily then they most certainly stumbled across the "Search" button...problem is most people are too lazy to search.

It's all right there at the top of the page...no too hard to read, ya know?

No sympathy.

Search or die.

AWESOME

That was one of the first threads I read here by coincidence, and I'm thinking to myself "these guys all must be retarded." Then you all flamed him to death and I realized that you weren't. Thanks for that, everyone that participated.

I do my best to not put anyone down, but by-god, when I hit 1000 posts, people better watch out! LOL

I also do my best not to post retarded threads, but by-god, when I hit 1000 posts......

Nobody has mentioned it yet, but... uhhh... with all due respect to the staff of this beloved forum, and as much as I love this place, you gotta admit, the search function here SUCKS!!!!!!![&:] So I can't really blame them either... half the time I can't even find an old thread in a search even when I know the title of it, it won't find it. I have to go and just do a search by the posters name
