Default new led's=new ticket

i just put on my two led pods up under my bike friday and saturday night i got pulled over while driving through a parking lot. bam, $110 dollar ticket. i was actually driving by checking on another rider that got hit. it kills me to get that ticket for doing nothing wrong. the bad thing is that the cop said he had an 03 f1. go figure

what color LED's where they most the time red of blue are illegal... Ima gonna get another set of white Led's so i can run those instead of my blues when i see the police.

Edit: I guess that was a lesson learned the hardway. You can try and fight it, but not have much luck...

they were green.he said any kind of distraction is a state violation. so i guess if you had a 32' ford coupe with a cromed out engine then it would be illegal cause i sure the hell would pay more attention to it than some measely little green lights.

check your local laws.. What was the ticket for exactly?

because if you can see the LED that could be what it was for.. Tuck your LED's up into the body work more so that the light still shows but the sourse is hidden..

but if the cop saw him riding on the streets with the lights on he's screwed. Court cost are $45 anyways so save yourself the trouble and just pay it. I don't see why people want to chrome everything out and light up their bikes for attention but the second they get it from the wrong person they get all bitchy and complain out getting a ticket. Like a girl showing to much skin she loves the atttention until guys start trying to get all over her. Same thing, Think before you act.

triax is right.i could probably fight it and win but i would have to take off at least a 1/2 day of work and then drive 30 miles to town and its just not worth it to me. ill just pay it.
by the way, this is the same town where i was pulled out of a line of backed up traffic and issued a $140 speeding ticket for 4 mph in a 35 mph zone. when i asked why i was pulled over,i got "because I can only get one of you KIDS at a time"
