New Job
Just thought I'd let everyone know that I just started my new job at Honda of High Point, NC
I'm currently taking Motorcycle Mechanics at Davidson County Community College and was hired on there to work in service dept.
So far it rocks, first thing I had to do was change a swingarm on an '08 crf150r bc of a safety recall on a weld
The pay could be better, but I'm only there around 4 hours each day so I'm thinking of it more along the lines of gaining experience than making tons of money.

Thanks guys
I'm really trying to make the most of it, but it's kind of slow up there right now
I hope the economy turns around a little by spring so we'll see a lot more bikes coming in for service and leaving the showroom

Coming from someone in the Industry, getting any bit of hands on is key...
Most situations are repetative(sp) so knowing how you handled it last time will take you a long way..
As a new guy dont automaticaly ask everyone how something is done, every dealer has the service manuals.. grab it and figure it out..
