PHP is pretty efficient for something written in an old *** language (C). And MySQL at least here in C++.

^^ Every major forum on the net runs VBulletin. We JUST now got the upgrade. It'll take some time to get used to it, but in a month or two.......everyone will wonder how we got along without it.
