• I've got a brake problem to take care of (prolly just flush + bleed the brakes)
• I've got a coolant issue to take care of (prolly just flush + burp the system)
• And I've got a new apartment to move into by Aug 1st... distance: 30'!

The apartment is the biggie. Bigger apartment and $100 less monthly rent. "What possibly could be wrong with that?!?" you ask? Well...






The previous tenant was a color blind meth head! Least that would explain her color choice. My landlord is giving me $150 off the 1st month rent for painting. And of course the ideal time to paint is before we move all our crap over. So we've got 2 weeks to paint and move.

Yuen's squeal of female delight at getting to drag me out picking out colors and new furniture and new linens and new tableware and new everything (since the old stuff won't match the new colors) was deafening

 

If anyone else posted this, it would be moved to sights and sounds. Just sayin.... lol

Not only are the colours hideous but the paint is super glossy. Not gonna be fun to paint over, that is for sure!

 

make sure you use a good primer.

 

Already went to Lowes. It's gonna take 4 gallons of primer to cover that mess. If the colors weren't so offensive to the eyes, I'd pocket the $150 and put it in Ororo.

But even Kai and Kia were like "WTF?!?" and they're color blind dogs It's the downside of having a good landlord. Every apartment he rents he gives the new tenants the $150 painting allowance.

Looks like the last 3-5 residents all picked a color, did a wall and said "**** this, let's drink the rest". I'm gonna cheat: my air compressor + paint gun

 

i'd keep the walls exactly like they are, and just frame some blank canvases and hang them up as "art".

 

Where the hell were you with this suggestion before spending 3 hrs and $1k future dollars in Ikea?!?

Bout an hr into the Ikea Ordeal I had an idea to make the experience more appealing to guys: Instead of shortcuts, Ikea should put up temporary wood walls... And issue guys chainsaws

I'd sure as hell go if I knew I could cut my way free at any time

 

I think it would be awesome to live in PeeWee's playhouse.
