Just wanted to see if anyone has seen or rode the new 1000RR in person yet? Apparently this year they have made several new improvements to make it a hotter more competitive ride, including upping the HP by about 10 or so. I went and took a look at several of them yesterday afternoon. I must say they look sweeeeeet! The blue and yellow paint scheme, although you normally wouldn't think of a blue and yellow honda, was absolutely beautiful!!! You can't really get a gook feel for how it looks on the website....in person, though....wow!

I wonder if I can talk the fiancee into another wedding present???!!!

 

Yea I have seen the blue and yellow one to. Its differemt but I like it. It gets away from the other colors and stands out. In person they do look different. I had the pleasure of sitting on one and it seemed to be heavier than my 929rr. The bike is beautiful and I'm putting in overtime to get one next summer.

 

I've also been into the local dealership and checked it out. I wasn't expecting to see it, and, as i walked in, i was taken aback by the blue and yellow paintjob. I like it. But, I don't plan on buying one. I'm hoping someone trades in a 954RR for one, then, i'll take the 954!!!!

The one thing I noticed when I sat on it, was that it seems they have moved the pegs up and back a bit. I know they were moved quite a bit from the 954 to the 1000, but i am not sure if they were moved from last year to this year.

That being said, I don't think I am ready to trade my 954 for one......then again, ya never know!

Haven't seen them in IA yet. I would like to see that new paint scheme in person.

 

I've seen a few of the 06 600rr's and 06 1000RR's here in Jax. I'll be going for some demo rides on them at bike week. I'll have a full report and pics afterwards.

 

ive also seen them in the local dealer..... i like the blue and yellow its something different and makes it stand out...

 

I have seen the '06 RR's here in Portland weeks ago(back in beginning/mid of janurary)
