so i know neon is iligal to have on in cali and i forget if leds are but this is what i want to do. tell me if it is leagal. and of the idea.
1. the fake intake/vent things behind the seat, i want to make it glow with blue leds in the back of it.

2. i want to put a lazer (like in a lazer pen) on the front of the bike maby above front tire wher the intak is. and maby put a motor spining it to make a circle in front like 7 feet in front of bike.

 

Im pretty sure thats gonna be VERY illegal..but then again ...

 

ummmm...Why would u want a laser pointer makin circles 7 ft in front of your bike?

 

i love lazers. and ther cool. and it would make me feel like i had a gun with scope and stuff. yup thats most of it.

You can get those neon led things that are in the shape of a circle and in makes a spirl on the ground or wall or whatever, they are like $20 on ebay. You could do that and put it on a switch instead of a pen oe w/e

Yes all that is illegal if you are in motion. You can only turn all that on if you are parked, and not on the street. While you are out riding around you have to keep all that turned off.

 

Its not the type of light (led, laser, bulb)is the color and direction. Blue, Red, Yellow, Green are reserved for emergency vehicles here is MD. But its also illegal to have any strobes or blinking lights, other thenblinkers,regardless of color when the vehicle is in motion. You can have anything you like when your not moving or not on public roads. *shrug*
