thats what i was thinking too. to me custom paint usually says its been down, but then again im going to be painting mine this winter and it has not been down except for being dropped in the garage, which i can just touch up with a little paint.
I think im going to ride it at least and see what i think. I have a feeling that i wont be giving up the 54 just yet.
as for the avatar, shes about 5' 10", probably 150 or 160lbs shes a thick girl, big *** big **** but skinny belly
i love it, long blond hair, blue eyes, beautiful smile and loves motorcycles. Deff a knock out, i dont know why she is ****in me lol but im not going to argue.

I'm a noob here but i'll throw my opinion in anyway [8D]
IMO it would be a nice trade, the 07 600 will put out 115-120? at the rear wheel and the 954 puts out about 130-135ish? And the 600 is probably 30 pounds lighter. The 600 will still get up and go, maybe top speed is 160 instead of 170, who actually uses top speed though? So lose a bit of power sure, but the 07 is also a slimmer, much better handling bike, which will make you faster in the corners. If you find you can't live without the liter trade it in on another 954 or even better an 06 1000rr! (my bike)
But, in the end, if you love your 54, keep it, it is definitely more rare/unique! [sm=icon_rock.gif]

I was thinking the same thing about the 600, five more years of technology, less weight, only a 10-20 drop in hp, it would probably be just as fast. Also, might help me learn the riding basics more easily. but i still dont know, I had to reschedule the visit to ride the bike. The ex came over last night for a booty call and got me sick. I dont like to make decisions when im not 100%, everything always seems lame when im not feeling well.

i wouldnt like going down to a 600cc cause i enjoy the torque of a bigger bike. when i dropped from a 929 down to a f4i i HATED IT .. not because the f4i was a bad bike but it didnt fit my riding style the same way. just something for you to think about
