I need something to use while I'm working out. I have a Samsung something but I never really liked it. I want something with it's own software so I don't have to use some BS windows media player to transfer music. I DO NOT want a POS ipod. Anyone have any suggestions?

just a tip, don't go toshiba, i had one for a year, it sucked. crapped out real quick...

what's wrong with ipods? never owned one i'm guessing, but you say they suck?

 

i like my RCA opal. it uses yahoo jukebox to transfer music and it has a all of the features of an ipod and a few more at a fraction of the cost

 

I've had nothing but iPods (and the reason I say iPod's as a plural is because I have a Best Buy Replacement Plan.......and "something" always happens to them everytime a new one comes out.......imagine that.......so I always get the newest one.)

I have the iPhone for my everywhere iPod, and I have a second generation black iPod Nano I've had for a LONG time now with absolutely NOTHING negative to say about it (other than it's not the newest one........but will be soon.........that's to BBY Replacement Plans.)

But seriously, the new Nano that was released today is KICK *** in black or silver.......or red..........or orange............or yellow, green or blue...........maybe purple.......but not pink.

 

iPod shuffle is great for working out...

I used to hate iPod too, but it's like a Dawson's Creek Trapper Keeper the way it consumes you.

Check out Creative Media I had the Zen Xtra jukebox I loved it! It'd finally died after like 3 years of continuous abuse. Nice software for it too.

 

I had one of the first Zen Xtras, it was the size of a tape player. It worked really well for several years.

I just recently joined the rest of the world and got a IPod (Nano), one of the new ones. Its pretty nice, no complaints.
