its not really "scary" but it was pretty good....The Happening.

 

The Grudge jacked me up. Any movie where people move in an unnatural fashion scares me. Jacob's Ladder was a really good movie. Also try The Messengers.

Wrong turn was a decent, more recent flick...besides it's got Jessica Biel in it. AND, there is a new movie coming out soon for Valentines day.....it's even in 3D

Whoever said Altered States is a scary movie needs to re-evaluate their movie knowledge.

 

Phantasm series. Its the only scary movie that made me have nightmares and wake up crying when I was a kid. I think there are like 5 movies of it. So you can rent them all and watch them all at once. A supernatural and sadistic undertaker who turns the dead into dwarf zombies to do his bidding and take over the world. The film was originally rated X by the MPAA.

 

Did anybody like that movie "The Mist" that came out this past year? Without spoiling the movie, after it was over I was pretty shaken up.
