Was in to it for years until they changed the rules for the chase haven't watched a race since.

 

I like the chase format, otherwise, the season would have been over 7 races ago.

 

also why even have 36 races if your going to basically start from scratch after the 26th.

 

Your not starting from scratch, your racing to get into the chase, then racing to win the chase. Win = Bonus points for an advantage in the chase.

Makes it more interesting IMO

 

I agree with D2D. The chase has added a lot to Nascar. We never question why the NFL or MLB have a playoff. To say that Nascar was better prior would be like saying, let's crown the Angel's as the champs since they won the most games this season.

Although I like the chase, Nascar is becoming way too sponsor based. Just think of how many drivers and sponsors are switching teams. You just won't see a driver drive for one team and one sponsor for 15 yrs anymore like Jeff Gordon.

D2D has it right, soccer = worst sport ever.

I dont see how anybody could not enjoy the chase. It makes complete sence, and Nascar is better because of it, like Kinkhead said, it is the playoffs for nascar.

What is this chase you speak of...someone tell me, so I can get off my F1 highchair and enjoy watching Nascar Raceday on Speed once in a while...
