Default My season has ended

Well we just got our first major snow and the roads are now being sanded.[:@] I think its in my best intrest to stay off the roads till spring because I know Ill end up low siding around a corner or something worst. It really sucks. I was hoping to get out a couple of more times before the snow and ice hit. Oh well, at least I have snowboarding four days a week to keep my mind off riding. Yeah right!

I feel your pain... in NY we just had some incredible weather - unseasonalbe at that. I think this may be one of the last 'nice weather' days we have. I cleaned her up, I plugged in the Batter Tender, and covered her up. It's a sad day. -Until '07! [sm=smiley6.gif]

Dont feel bad I have already parked my bike once this season and we actually got some incredibly nice weeks after that. Feeling the urge of course hearing bikes go by my place I pulled her back out once again for an amazing three more weeks of riding. For those who dont live in the upper midwest, riding the weekend of thanksgiving in just a sweatshirt is something totally unheard of. We finally got some freezing rain this weekend so now she is parked again. Hopefully this winter is a mild one and I can get back out there in early feb or march.

I'm up here in Bremerton WA, it only snows a couple days a year, these past two days being some of them. Other than that, still ride in the cold nasty weather. As much as I hate to say it on this forum, it has been nice riding to work in a heated car, listening to my favorite morning show with a hot cup of coffee. Maybe I outa develope a drinking straw for my Shoei or something....and a cup holder right in front of the tank........

Its not like it snows alot or anything, its just when it does they like to over do it with the sand. So being on two wheels taking a turn across sand lines scares the crap put of me!!! Ill ride in the cold. Actually kind of like it for a while, but its just all the sand.

75 degrees in Columbia, SC today! Although the fog was kinda thick this morning. Was able to put in a nice ride today before the cold weather kicks in this weekend.
